Other than the usual frontal or back view, the next most common choice in taking fundoshi pictures are shooting from under the balls up. I rarely do this kind as mine are all self timer pic taking. Managing this kind of angle is a big challenge as getting the perfect view is purely by trial and error. After many many attempts here's what I like.

A little update

There have been many repost of 'back flip' and 'arm-stand' in my maroon fundoshi. So hope to do an update of that Maroon fundoshi. Look out for more in the coming upload.

Langoti

Having posted a "How to tie Langoti" recently, decided to try my hands on making my own.
After trying, I must say it seems less secure than the Japanese Fundoshi, really wonder how they can do wrestling in them? With my self-made, I think one tug and it will be strip off me in no time.

Indian loincloth - Langot

Kaupinam (Devanagari:कौपिनम), kaupina (Devanagari: कौपिन) or langot (Devanagari: लंगोट) is an undergarment worn by Indian men as a loincloth or underclothing. It is made up of rectangular strip of cotton cloth which is used to cover the genitals with the help of the strings connected to the four ends of the cloth for binding it around the waist of the wearer. It has fallen into disuse amongst the common people, but any Hindu godly people or saints continue to use it. It is still used by wrestlers in India. The wrestlers often wear a g-string shaped guard underneath to protect their genitals from rupture. There exists a verse in the Sam Veda of the Hindu sacred scriptures encouraging the use of kaupinam during sexual intercourse.
